General Laborer

What You Will Be Doing

• Assist in the felting of the machine and start up.
• Absorb broke from all areas after a sheet break or start up.
• Haul rejected rolls to roll splitter, and split rolls if necessary.
• Retrieve all necessary shipping materials from storage area.
• Inspect powered equipment each shift and complete daily forklift inspection sheet.
• Train on operating fork truck.
• Cutting/removal of wire on bales of waste paper.
• Operate guillotine to process scrap rolls.
• Able to identify grades of waste paper.
• Responsible for housekeeping in the assigned area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to withstand demanding physical labor and harsh conditions - extreme heat (120+ degrees F in summer).
• Strong sense of teamwork and caring for the safety of yourself and others.
• Willing to work in a tobacco free environment.
