General Laborer

Responsibilities

• Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials from work area
• Ensure equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Safely operate a variety of tools including drills, saws, grinders, forklifts, mag drills, and plasma cutters
• Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor to ensure successful completion of the program

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds
• Comfortable climbing work platforms and working at elevated levels
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
• Flexibility to adapt to additional tasks as needed

Work Environment

Indoor/outdoor shop setting with exposure to noise, heat, sparks, and heavy equipment.

Schedule

Duration of assignment will be approximately 18 months.
