General Laborer

Job Responsibilities

• Uses sledgehammer to drive pins
• Uses pick and shovel to dig
• Hooks up trailers
• Fastens attachments to equipment
• Aids other materials, mixes mortar mix, bolts, nails, and aligns
• Bolts, nails, and aligns under forms
• Measures distances from grade stakes, drives stakes, and stretches tight line
• Be able to lift 50 lbs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Dedicated to working safely at all times
• Able to work safely outdoors in varying weather conditions, including prolonged exposure (8-12 hours) to high temperatures and humidity
• Able to handle exposure to direct sunlight for extended periods
• Able to walk on uneven terrain, slopes, and loose material
• Able to perform manual labor and lifting
• Able to operate or work around heavy equipment
• Self-motivated individuals must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision
• Able to perform a variety of duties, some of which may include site clean-up, maintenance, operating equipment, and other duties as assigned
• Must be able to learn quickly
• Willing to work weekends and overtime
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
