General Laborer

About The Opportunity

RHI Magnesita is seeking a dependable and safety‑focused General Laborer to join our manufacturing operation in Moulton, Alabama. This hands‑on role supports daily production activities and plays an important part in advancing our recycling and sustainable manufacturing efforts. You’ll work in a fast‑paced industrial environment, operating equipment, handling materials, and supporting multiple areas of the facility to keep operations running safely and efficiently. What You’ll Do

• Operate overhead cranes to safely lift and move large concrete or industrial components
• Use hand tools, such as hammers, for assembly, demolition, or adjustment tasks
• Operate sit‑down forklifts to transport materials and finished products throughout the facility
• Organize, store, and retrieve materials using shelving systems
• Perform general labor duties, including material handling and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Assist with production and manufacturing operations as needed
• Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
• Support other departments and teams to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations

What You Bring

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
• Ability to operate, or willingness to learn to operate, overhead cranes and sit‑down forklifts (training provided)
• Comfort with physically demanding work, including frequent lifting and standing
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with established procedures
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to contribute as part of a team and take on a variety of tasks
