General Laborer

About the role

Looking for a stable company that values your experience? As a General Laborer, you will be trained in Pratt Industries' corrugating department to fill vacant positions as a machine operator, machine assistant/helper, or forklift driver.

Responsibilities

• Train in corrugating department as machine operator, machine assistant/helper, or forklift driver
• Work flexible shifts including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts
• Work overtime including weekends based on business needs
• Operate and/or learn a variety of machinery including forklift equipment
• Must have a high school degree (or GED) and experience working in a manufacturing facility

Requirements

• Following directions under limited supervision
• Learn manufacturing principles and practices
• Perform basic mathematical calculations and read a tape measure
• Lift and load materials
• Comply with safety and operational guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Basic PC skills
• Communicate with co-workers to provide and receive direction

• Workplace orderliness, housekeeping
