General Laborer

About the role

We are seeking General Laborers for 1st (6AM to 2PM) and 2nd Shift (2PM to 10PM) at our Miami Gardens, FL facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production activities including machine setup, operation, and cleanup; recommend operational improvements.
• Visually inspect completed units and report suspect product to Manufacturing Supervisor or Lead Person.
• Ensure proper placement of unit tags, cover sheets, and correct stacking patterns; apply bands to units as required.
• Operate machinery at available capacity and speed to maximize equipment utilization.
• Assist Flexo Folder Gluer Operator and Assistant with job duties on the machine.
• Work as part of a team to increase productivity, decrease downtime, and reduce waste.
• Participate in plant and facilities-related work across the plant floor.
• Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Switch duties with Flexo Folder Gluer Assistant as necessary.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including maintaining good housekeeping.
• Stack parts up to 30 lbs. for periods of up to 12 hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Experience in a packaging, corrugated, or other manufacturing environment.
• Passion for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to work 1st and 2nd shifts.
• Good attendance record.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay

Starting salary: $19.00 per hour.

Annual bonus based on plant performance metrics.
