General Laborer

Responsibilities

• Lumber Handler is responsible for safely handling, sorting, and stacking rough cut lumber by dimension, species, and grade.
• Ensure lumber is placed accurately and neatly into the appropriate cart.
• Working in open warehouses and keeping work areas safe and clean.
• May perform other duties as required associated with handling of wood products.

Requirements

• Must be safety conscious, have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.
• Must have and maintain excellent attendance record.
• Work at a fast pace and be detail oriented team player.
• Pre-employment drug-screen required.
• Candidates must be able to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
• Always required to wear personal protective equipment.
• Cross train in other production related jobs.
• An all-around positive work attitude, at all times.

1st shift - 6 am to 2:30 pm
