General Laborer

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
• High degree of attention to detail
• Must be able to work independently and as a team member
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting and carrying of objects over 20 pounds
• Often combined with stooping, bending, twisting, crawling, reaching, working on irregular surfaces, and working in confined spaces
• Strenuous physical work

Work Environment

Laborers may work in cramped spaces, with continuous exposure to such unpleasant elements as dust, fumes and odors, dampness, noise levels, or outside weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment screen, including but not limited to: drug and alcohol screen, background check, motor vehicle records check, reference check and physical (if applicable)
• Current and valid drivers license in the state of permanent residence (must be insurable by Jaynes automobile insurance carrier in order to drive a Jaynes vehicle)
• Proof of current completion of a general course recognized by Jaynes in Hazardous Substances - Recognition and Protection, if applicable. (Or must attend next available class.)

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
