General Laborer

About the role

Icon Property Rescue in Milford, OH seeks a full-time General Laborer to assist with cleanup, demolition, tool operation, restoration, and site organization. The position offers a competitive pay range of $18–$20/hour, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for on-call duties and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the tearing out of damaged materials such as drywall, flooring, and insulation.
• Operate various hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
• Support restoration efforts including water extraction, mold remediation, and fire damage cleanup.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites and properly store tools.
• Follow all directions and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Physical strength and stamina to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility for occasional emergency calls, nights, or weekends.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction, demolition, or property restoration.
• Basic understanding of water, fire, or mold damage cleanup.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• OSHA 10 certification or equivalent safety training.
