Position Summary: Laborers work under the direction of crew leads, foreman or superintendents performing physical activities in support of completing construction work. This position is for our Utah location. Primary Duties And Responsibilities: Assist crew leader with construction, reconstruction, and maintenance workFollow and adhere to Harrison Western safety procedures and techniquesKeep the worksite clean and safeFollows project instructions from crew lead, foreman or superintendent Ensure regulated and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn Follows all health and safety policy and regulations including company policies, OHSA and MSHAOperates hand and power tools of all types to complete daily tasksUnloads tools, prepares site materials, sets up equipment and general job site organization Cleans and clears debris and hazardous materialsLoads, or identify materials, machinery or tools, distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications and according to prescribed safety featuresOperates heavy equipment Performs other duties as assigned Required Skills: 2+ years construction experience either above or undergroundAbility to travel extensively throughout the nationAbility to take direction from leadershipAbility to recognize safety risks and hazardsAbility to lift 50+ poundsWork in standing, sitting or other physical positionsValid driver’s licenseAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background checkAbility to obtain ATF possessor preferred Compensation And Benefits Include: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour DOEPer Diem -Based on location3 Medical plans to choose fromVision and Dental Plans8 paid holidays401k with Company match that is immediately vested It is the policy of Harrison Western not to discriminate against any employee or any applicant for employment because of age, race, religion, color, disability, sex, physical condition, developmental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, genetic information or national origin.
