General Laborer

About the role

A large, established manufacturer at this site produces core materials for the packaging industry. This is a hands-on, physically active production environment where you would be part of a team keeping mill operations running safely and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping across hoppers, floors, and walls
• Assist with housekeeping audit action items
• Move rolls using overhead crane equipment
• Cut cores and slab rolls
• Band slabs for shipment
• Operate a forklift as needed
• Stock supplies as directed
• Work dry end and wet end mill operations
• Attend pre-shift safety meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED
• Heavy industrial work experience
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
• Steel toe shoes
• Ability to pass a drug screen including THC

Preferred / Bonus

• Forklift, clamp truck, or mobile equipment experience
• Comfort working at heights or in confined spaces

Pay

$24.00/hr.

Schedule

Rotating shift flexibility across all three shifts.
