GENERAL LABORER
About the role
The primary responsibility of a sales representative and distributor is to attract prospective buyers, sell and execute sales transactions. They should develop and implement marketing strategies that meet the organization's business targets. They provide buyers with details and know-how of the items sold to them. They service existing accounts, obtain orders, establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules.
They keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis. They monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc...
They resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. They maintain professional and technical knowledge of the items the factory is selling. They provide and maintain historical records on area and customer sales.
