General Laborer

Responsibilities

• Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Assist with construction projects by performing tasks such as measuring distances, earth digging, laying or pulling cable, etc.
• Perform a variety of tasks requiring dexterous use of hands and tools.
• Auxiliary duties include assisting the crew leader in construction work, completing assigned tasks, operating machinery, vehicles, and other necessary tools.
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
• Open trenches and restore trenches using hand tools and/or power equipment.
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
