General Laborer

What You’ll Do

• Sort through waste and recyclable materials by hand for audit and reporting purposes.
• Separate items into specific categories (e.g., plastics, cardboard, organics, metals, contamination).
• Affiliate with general labor tasks such as loading/unloading bins, cleaning work areas, and organizing materials.
• Utilize PPE (gloves, safety glasses, masks) and adhere to strict safety protocols throughout the assignment.
• Support site leads with any other project-related duties as assigned.
• Report any safety concerns or irregularities to supervisors immediately.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• Experience with basic waste sorting and handling techniques.
