About the Erosion Control Division
Erosion Control is a Division within Absolute Group that specializes in commercial and state erosion and soil control services. The Erosion Control Division offers a wide range of agricultural construction solutions, including seeding, sodding, mulching, silt fence installation and storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) management.
Responsibilities
- Jobsite preparation for soil erosion control and prevention
- General landscaping
- Loading and unloading of materials, tools and equipment
- Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans
- Assisting skilled workers in their duties
- Daily jobsite clean-up
- Ensuring a safe work environment
- Installing silt fence
- Hydro-seeding
- Maturing
- Tree planting
- Grading
Requirements
- Ability to adapt to a variety of different labor assignments
- Valid Driver's license and clear driving record
- Ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work overtime
- Ability to work well with others, be punctual, and work hard
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of agricultural labor, but every candidate must have a willingness to learn.
