General Labor, Sorter, Amble Rd, Charlotte, NC

We’re hiring General Laborers Sorters to sort recyclables, clean recycling machinery, and maintain the perimeter at a large recycling and processing plant in Charlotte, NC. This role helps keep our community clean and does not require a resume—your ability to follow directions and results from the realistic job preview will determine candidacy for a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Sort recyclables
• Clean recycling machinery
• Maintain the facility perimeter

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for an entire shift
• Consent to a background check (Leadpoint is a second-chance employer)
• Consent to a drug screen (including THC testing, as this is a safety-sensitive position)
• Reliable transportation (facilities are near bus lines; carpooling and ride-sharing encouraged)

Pay

$17.00 per hour for full-time General Laborers/Sorters.
