General Labor - Set Up Crew 1st Shift

About the role

NABRICO Marine Products is seeking a safety-focused General Laborer – Set Up Crew to join our team in Ashland City, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Support barge production by preparing work areas, setting up equipment, assisting welders and fitters, and performing a variety of production support tasks throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Maintain an efficient workflow and ensure production teams have the tools, materials, and work environment needed to safely build high-quality marine products.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, construction, fabrication, welding, or industrial experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience operating grinders, hand tools, and power tools is preferred.
• Basic welding experience, including tack welding, is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to safely set up and work from scaffolding and elevated work platforms.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and productive work environment.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing ladders, and working from scaffolding throughout the shift.
• Ability to work at elevated heights and in confined spaces as required.
• Ability to work around welding operations, overhead cranes, forklifts, grinders, and other industrial equipment.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, dust, noise, vibration, and other manufacturing conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays based on production needs.
