Principal Functional Responsibilities
- Aid in the production of cabinet components according to specifications.
- Handle, move, and prepare raw materials and finished products for production stages.
- Operate basic woodworking machinery and power tools such as sanders, clamps, and saws (training provided as needed).
- Perform sanding, finishing, packaging, and inspection tasks to prepare cabinets for shipment.
- Report any issues with materials, tools, or production processes to the supervisor.
- Support team members in various tasks to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and 6S environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and required PPE guidelines.
Essential Qualifications And Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to use hand tools and basic power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Work in production areas with exposure to noise, dust, vibration, and ergonomic stressors while wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Perform job duties requiring prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive motion in a manufacturing environment.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, and greater weights with assistance as needed.
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
- Prior experience in manufacturing or carpentry, especially within cabinet or wood product fabrication.
- Familiarity with woodworking machinery such as table saws, routers, or CNC machines.
- Experience in a lean manufacturing or 6S environment.
