About the role

The Warehouse Associate serves as a member of Fortune Fish & Gourmet’s Seafood operations team. Key responsibilities include maintaining the facility and equipment at the highest levels of cleanliness to ensure product quality and process integrity. Additional tasks involve assisting with sorting, box making, sticker labeling, packing, put-aways, ice making, and general cleanup.

Responsibilities

• Understand and execute assigned daily workload safely, accurately, on-time, and on-budget.
• Actively offer feedback and suggestions for improvement to the Production Supervisor.
• Embrace and understand the data-driven approach utilized in the production room.
• Support Fortune’s mission, vision, and values daily.
• Maintain cleanliness of production area and equipment.
• Follow company policies to ensure food safety and quality.
• Work to maintain and improve the sanitation process at Fortune.
• Adhere to all established GMP procedures and guidelines during job execution.
• Use appropriate cleaning solutions during the sanitation process.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaned areas in accordance with SOP.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all Fortune Team Members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• One year of cleaning in a food processing environment preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated desire to work in an exciting and fast-paced environment.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Either English or Spanish verbal communication skills.

Schedule

Third Shift: 10 PM / 11 PM – 7:00 AM
