General Labor - Production

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow all company rules and regulations related to environmental, health, and safety.
• Safely operate pallet jacks to lift and transfer materials from one place to another.
• Supply components to hoppers, indexing poles or conveyors.
• Load parts from the basket to machine conveyor.
• Remove finished parts from the machines.
• Inspect as necessary and pack properly.
• Visually inspect components and parts for defects, sort and disassemble defect parts.

Education And/or Experience

• Able to read, write and speak English well enough to successfully pass safety training.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Concentrate on a task over several minutes without being distracted.
• Arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern.
• Physically move objects safely by using proper lifting techniques.

Physical Demands

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Talk or hear.
• Pass an inspection test of finished parts and components.
