General Labor - Plant Team
Job Summary
The Plant Team - Precast role supports daily precast concrete production operations by performing general labor, material preparation, mold setup, and equipment maintenance. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient production flow by following established manufacturing procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements. This role is ideal for a hands-on, entry-level team member who thrives in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment and is committed to safety, teamwork, and achieving daily production goals.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform daily tasks related to precast concrete production and general labor support
- Set up, assemble, clean, and maintain steel pallets, forms, and molds
- Prepare forms for concrete pouring, including cutting, bending, and placing rebar and welded wire mesh
- Operate, maintain, and inspect production equipment, tools, and machinery
- Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and facility grounds
- Perform manual labor tasks such as loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
- Support team members in achieving daily production targets and operational goals
- Follow all workplace safety regulations, OSHA standards, and quality procedures
- Maintain proper housekeeping standards for a clean and organized plant environment
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supervisor instructions
- Auxiliary with special projects, production changes, or additional tasks as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

Experience & Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform physical labor in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team-oriented setting
- Safety-focused mindset
- Preferred: 0-2 years of experience in precast concrete, construction, manufacturing, or industrial labor
- Familiarity with construction materials, rebar, or concrete processes
- Willingness to learn and be trained on plant processes and machinery
- Flexible and adaptable to team and production needs
Work Environment
- Indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures
- Near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazards
- Work in a noisy environment
