Pay: $16.55 per hour

Requirements

• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Willingness to work in a very cold environment
• Willingness to go up and down stairs
• Willingness to use scissors and knives to cut chicken
• Able to tolerate motion and work on a fast-moving processing line
• Willingness to work on a stand that is two feet above floor level
• Willingness to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach
• Lifting required in many areas (weight depends on area)
• Work environment may be cold, damp, hot, or humid, with slippery walking surfaces
• Willing to walk up and down stairs as some departments are located on the lower level
• Willingness to stand on and work on a platform about two feet above floor level

Rehire Policy

• 365-day waiting period before reapplying if previously employed at Tyson
• Eligible to reapply if you’ve worked at Tyson no more than three times
• 6-month waiting period if you had a failed drug screen
