About the role

Support a variety of sound control, resurfacing, moisture emissions, and related projects as a Commercial Construction Floor Underlayment Installer. Some overnight travel to project sites in surrounding states is required.

• Break open bags of gypcrete and pour them into a mixer
• Set up the hose for pouring and connect it to the mixer
• Operate a bobcat to move sand into the mixer
• Finish the poured Gypcrete floor
• Carry supplies onto a job site
• Pick up or deliver supplies as needed
• Assist other crew members as necessary
• Use small tools and perform basic equipment repair

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic hand tools
• Basic ability to read a tape measure
• Hard-working and goal-oriented
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to drive your own vehicle to various local project sites
• Open to occasional overnight travel to surrounding states
• Ability to multi-task
• Comfortable working in multi-temperature environments
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 80 lbs repetitively
• Previous construction experience a plus
• Previous experience working on a concrete crew a plus

Pay

Starting wage of $20.00 to $24.00 per hour.
