About the role

Support the installation of gypsum and concrete-based products on a variety of sound control, resurfacing, moisture emissions, and related projects. Responsibilities include:

• Breaking open bags of gypcrete and pouring them into a mixer
• Setting up the hose for pouring and connecting to the mixer
• Operating a bobcat to move sand into the mixer
• Finishing the poured gypcrete floor
• Carrying supplies onto a job site
• Picking up or delivering supplies as needed
• Assisting other crew members as necessary
• Using small tools and performing basic equipment repair

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic hand tools
• Basic ability to read a tape measure
• Hard-working and goal-oriented
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to drive your own vehicle to local project sites
• Open to occasional overnight travel to project sites in surrounding states
• Ability to multi-task
• Comfortable working in multi-temperature environments
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 80 lbs of product repetitively
• Previous construction experience a plus
• Previous experience working on a concrete crew a plus

Pay

Starting wage of $20.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Schedule

Some overnight travel required.
