About the role
We are seeking a General Labor, Bakery – Packing (Grandi Paddler/Inspector) to join our team at our Hazleton, PA bakery.
Shift & Schedule
Shift: 3rd Shift
Weekend availability: Required
Core Accountabilities
- Inspect and align frozen products to ensure proper flow into automated vision systems
- Identify and remove defective or misaligned products to prevent equipment jams and maintain efficiency
- Monitor equipment conditions and report damaged tools or components to supervisors
- Communicate production issues across teams to support continuous operation and minimize downtime
- Maintain compliance with food safety standards, GMPs, and company safety policies
- Complete production documentation accurately and maintain organized workspaces
- Support team performance through collaboration, training, and maintaining production readiness
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math and timekeeping skills
- Ability to make logical decisions and follow established procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently carry over 20 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
- Ability to work in varying environments (cold, wet, hot, noisy, or confined areas)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or bakery production environment
- Familiarity with automated inspection or packaging systems
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards
- Experience operating or supporting production equipment
- Experience training or assisting new team members
