This job requires enlistment in the U.S. Army. Opportunities exist in over 200 active‑duty positions across fields such as mechanics, engineering, science, medicine, aviation, aerial defense, and more. You can pursue a familiar career path or learn something new, receiving valuable on‑the‑job training. Most positions are entry level.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or hold an I‑551 card (permanent resident).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a criminal background check with no open law violations.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• No felony convictions.
• Must be in good health with no physical limitations.

Compensation and Benefits

Total compensation includes housing, medical, food, special pay, and vacation time. Enlistees in certain Military Occupational Specialties may earn up to $40,000 in cash bonuses. Education benefits: qualified students can receive full‑tuition, merit‑based scholarships, allowances for books and fees, plus an annual stipend for living expenses.
