Job Description
We're currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team in a general labor position. This is an excellent opportunity to get started in our manufacturing facility and build the skills needed to transition into a specialized production role after your initial training and onboarding period.
- Assisting with material handling and cleanup
- Supporting machine operators as needed
- Moving and stacking products (may involve lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Learning basic production processes and safety procedures
- Gaining familiarity with tools like forklifts and SAP (training provided)
Important details: Position may be on 2nd or 3rd shift in a union manufacturing plant with training potentially on a different shift. Pay starts at $25.22/hr and is based on the union contract.
Qualifications
You’ll fit right in if you have:
- Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
- Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus
- The ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary
- The ability to work on various shifts depending on available positions
