Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Assemble store fixtures and displays using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Assist in various production tasks, including manual handling of products, supplies, and equipment.
- Support machine operators and team members with production needs.
- Perform visual and physical inspections for product quality and conformance to specifications.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Assist with inventory control and stock replenishment.
- Load and unload deliveries as required.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies diligently.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to meet production goals.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and use basic hand/power tools.
- Must be dependable and work well independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or general labor is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting: Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Push/Pull: Ability to push metal materials and equipment up to 75 pounds.
- Reaching: Frequently reaching overhead and at shoulder height.
- Stooping/Bending: Regular bending, often under 20 pounds.
- Standing/Walking: Prolonged standing (up to 10 hours per day) and walking throughout production floor.
- Manual dexterity: Required for assembling small parts and using tools.
