About the role

L & S is looking for a General Shop Labor to join a company that was recently certified as a "Great Place to Work" for the fifth year in a row.

Responsibilities

• Teardown and Assembly of Locomotive Truck Frames.
• Teardown and Assembly of Traction Motor Combos.
• Test running and inspection of Traction Motor Combos.
• Failure Analysis of the products listed above.

Requirements

• You have your High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• You’re a self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Some experience, with hand and power tools.
• Have basic mechanical knowledge.
• Able to stand for 8 hours per day with the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Are comfortable using your hands for grasping pushing, pulling, tightening, adjusting and fine manipulation of different size objects.
• You enjoy working in a shop environment.
• Fluent in English: verbal and written communication.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
