About the role

The position involves performing various tasks in a manufacturing environment, including operating machinery, reading factory orders, utilizing basic shop math, inspecting products, and maintaining cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Safely operate machinery
• Read factory orders
• Utilize basic shop math such as accurately reading tape measures, gauges, and other testing equipment
• Consistently inspect the quality and count of finished products
• Complete quality and administrative document checks with accuracy
• Pick up and shred scrap material
• Blow down machinery, wipe off shafts, clean ink systems, sweep the machine area, and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Work overtime as needed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a stable work history
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Must be able to perform basic math
• Must be able to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work with a safety-first mindset and actively participate in safety culture
• Ability to work well with others
