About the Role
This is a full-time, third-shift position located at 3200 County Line Rd, Madison, OH. The pay rate is $20.55 per hour with a $0.16 shift differential. Overtime is available as needed, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day safe operations throughout the plant, including feeding and stacking at various machine centers and assisting with hand labor and housekeeping.
- Understand basic principles of corrugated products, flutes, corrugation direction, and identify various substrates.
- Assist operators in the setup and production on machines, ensuring quality and efficiency consistent with company standards.
- Follow all safety rules and procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTT) and MSK procedures; use personal protective equipment (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, safety vest, etc.).
- Maintain LOTT proficiency at all machine centers and uphold housekeeping standards.
- Demonstrate teamwork, resolve issues professionally, and operate machines at safe speeds to meet customer needs.
- Detect, prevent, and resolve quality issues; involve management as needed to confirm quality expectations.
- Read and understand job specifications, follow written and oral directions, and use a standard tape measure.
- Perform basic arithmetic, read and copy figures, and count/record data accurately.
- Stand, walk, and reach constantly; twist, bend, and lift up to 35 pounds frequently.
- Work daily and weekly overtime, including weekends, as business conditions require.
- Delegate tasks to crew members to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
