General Labor $23.80/hr + $1500 in Bonuses

About the role

This is a full-time general labor position in a 24/5 operation with occasional Saturdays. Shift assignments are determined by union seniority; shift preferences cannot be accommodated. Mandatory scheduled and unscheduled overtime is required.

Responsibilities

• Counting and stacking finished product
• Reading factory orders
• Reading gauges and other test equipment accurately
• Utilizing basic shop math and inspecting product
• Completing quality and administrative documents and following directions
• Clean-up functions: blowing down machines, wiping shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping machine areas, picking up and shredding scrap
• Cross-training between different positions and machines

Skills

• Proficiency in counting and stacking finished product
• Ability to read factory orders
• Proficiency in English required for safety considerations

Pay

$23.80 per hour with applicable shift differentials: swing shift +$0.24, graveyard shift +$0.34. Pay increases of $2–$4 per hour after the probationary period depending on assigned position.

Sign-on bonus: $500 after probationary period, $500 after 6 months, $500 after 1 year.

Schedule

• Day shift: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Swing shift: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
• Graveyard shift: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am
