GENERAL LABOR - 1st Shift (August 2026) - Tyson of Rogers

Schedule: Monday – Friday with possible Saturday hours; times vary by production line.

Pay: $16.70/hour. Debone and Hand Cutters may earn an additional daily performance incentive ranging from $40 to $80. One-on-one job training provided for up to 8 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE (ear protection, hair net, beard guard).
• Push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40+ pounds as required by the position.
• Work in damp, cold, or hot environments; reach above shoulder level.
• Stand for 8–10 hours per day.
• Maneuver freely around the work area, including climbing steps/stairs to access work areas.
• Demonstrate good hand/eye coordination.

Requirements

• 180-day (6-month) waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members.
• Maximum of two previous employments with Tyson to be considered for rehire.
• This position is currently open only to team members already working at this facility or complex.
• Team members from other Tyson facilities may express interest through their local HR Partner.
• Background checks required for certain roles.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
