General Labor - 1st shift

Essential Job Functions

• Comply with all workplace standards and safety procedures, including cGMPs, OSHA, SOPs, and Company Guidelines.
• Follow equipment operating parameters to maximize production, while meeting all product specifications.
• Use various equipment during general labor activities, including scissors, box cutters, hot plates, wicking machines, pour heads, heat guns, labelers, tapers, and other tools as needed.
• Perform general labor activities such as standing for up to 12 hours per shift, bending and reaching, and tasks requiring good finger dexterity.
• Unload empty jars from pallets, load empty jars onto conveyor belts, place metal wick holders on poured candles, put lids on jars, assemble corrugated components, pack finished products into boxes, stack finished cases onto pallets in the correct Ti-Hi pattern, and display and assort products in project areas.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Manufacturing experience in a high-paced facility is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely in a production environment is required.
• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions in regard to workplace documentation, such as SOPs, operator checklists, work instructions, etc., is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must have low sensitivity to highly fragranced work environments.
• Must have good color acuity.
• Must be willing to work overtime as required, based on production demands.
