Internship Tracks & Locations
- Design Engineering – Chadds Ford, PA: Develop state-of-the-art planetarium display systems and immersive dome structures. These one-of-a-kind designs demand creativity, attention to detail, and collaboration with clients to meet the highest standards. Ideal for students passionate about mechanical design, problem-solving, and building future-forward tech.
- Software Engineering – Los Angeles, CA; Salt Lake City, UT: Dive into immersive software development, working on QA, media playback, full-stack tools, and hardware integrations. Expect cross-functional collaboration and exposure to high-performance systems powering 12K+ video content and real-time experiences.
- Sales – Hollywood Park (Inglewood, CA); Grandscape (The Colony, TX): Support the Venue Sales team through every stage of the sales cycle—from prospecting and lead management to proposals and event execution. Gain real-world sales experience and contribute to high-impact partnerships across sports, entertainment, and private events.
- Audio / Video / Lighting – Hollywood Park (Inglewood, CA); Grandscape (The Colony, TX): Help deliver cutting-edge live immersive experiences by supporting A/V systems, lighting, and live production across venues. Perfect for students interested in live entertainment, tech operations, or production with a customer-focused mindset.
- Customer Service & Content Operations – Los Angeles, CA; Hollywood Park (Inglewood, CA): Two paths available:
- Customer Service: Optimize the customer journey by analyzing performance data, improving self-service tools, and supporting front-line teams. Great for proactive, detail-oriented individuals passionate about high-quality service.
- Programming Strategy: Assist in evaluating internal priorities and market trends to inform scheduling and content planning, shaping the mix of live events and immersive experiences. Ideal for those interested in theatrical exhibition, live entertainment, or sports with strategic thinking and creative planning skills.
- Product Management – Los Angeles, CA; Cranberry, PA: Help shape Cosm's B2B products from video capture to AI-enhanced tools. Assist with feature development, UX improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, Marketing, and Engineering teams. Great for analytical thinkers passionate about innovation and immersive tech.
- Finance & Accounting – Los Angeles, CA; Salt Lake City, UT:
- Finance (UT): Support forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Accounting (CA): Focus on accounts payable, reconciliations, and core accounting processes. Ideal for students studying Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- Production – Los Angeles, CA; New York, NY: Join the Creative Production team:
- Audio Design: Use sound design and Unreal Engine skills to create immersive soundscapes, from ambient effects to spatialized music.
- Production: Coordinate immersive content pipelines, manage assets, and support post-production logistics. Perfect for detail-oriented creatives eager to learn production inside and out.
- Manufacturing – Salt Lake City, UT: Work on Continuous Improvement, analyzing workflows with engineers and ops leaders, proposing solutions, and implementing efficiency upgrades. See how lean principles and innovation come to life in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Human Resources – Hollywood Park (Inglewood, CA): Join the Venue People & HR team to support onboarding, employee engagement, and other key HR functions that support culture and operations at our venues.
- Information Technology (IT) – Various Locations: Support the tech infrastructure that powers our venues by resolving real-time issues, maintaining systems, and optimizing tools across departments. Ideal for tech-savvy students who are curious, adaptable, and thrive under pressure.
- Venue Operations – Hollywood Park (Inglewood, CA); Grandscape (The Colony, TX): Work closely with the Venue Entertainment team to bring guest-facing activations to life—from idea to execution. Assess concepts, research feasibility, and support cross-functional planning. Great for organized, creative students who love events and experiential marketing.
- Astrophysics – Salt Lake City, UT: Work on astronomy-themed content within the Digistar planetarium software. Create educational materials, visualize complex astrophysical data, and contribute to outreach initiatives across the global planetarium community. Perfect for students studying physics, astronomy, or science communication.
- Marketing – Various Locations: Several functions available:
- Venue Marketing (Inglewood, CA; The Colony, TX): Support consumer campaigns with research, strategy, and data-driven insights.
- Communications (Los Angeles, CA; Salt Lake City, UT): Amplify Cosm's brand through media, storytelling, and digital content. Great for creative thinkers with strong writing skills.
- Graphic Design & Video Editing (Los Angeles, CA): Contribute to Cosm's visual identity through high-impact design and multimedia, producing marketing materials that engage and inspire.

Qualifications
- Junior or Senior at the start of the program (ideally)
- Available to work onsite in a hybrid capacity
- Available to work 20 hours per week during the defined Intern period
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Interest in immersive technology and content
