General Foreman - General Labor

Key Responsibilities

• Manages multiple general labor crews, ensuring all tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.
• Plans and coordinates labor, materials, and equipment resources to support daily site operations and maintain productivity.
• Collaborates with superintendents and project managers to integrate general labor activities into overall project schedules.
• Mentors and develops foremen and crew leads to enhance technical capability and leadership effectiveness.
• Oversees process improvements to minimize safety risks, optimize material and labor utilization, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Makes sure progress is monitored, reports are reviewed, and operational updates are communicated to senior leadership.
• Conducts site inspections to verify quality, safety compliance, and adherence to DPR standards.

Education Qualifications

• A High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• 7 years of experience in general labor, construction, or a related field required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a managerial capacity required.
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-Hour Construction certification required.
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.
