Position Overview

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead field staff and subcontractor compliance with project safety program requirements; ensures weekly safety inspections and toolbox talks are completed; implements corrective measures.
• Aids the Safety Department in incident and accident investigations and follow-up.
• Plans and supervises activities including method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, and work schedule.
• Maintains productivity and cost codes, reviews results with the Project Manager, and communicates site problems, conflicts, schedule, and quality issues.
• Supports assigned foreman with required execution plan, manpower levels, productivity, material quantities, and equipment; communicates site issues to the Project Manager and owner.
• Aids the Project Manager with identifying "out of scope" changes, seeking authorization and approval of changes.
• Supervises, mentors, and motivates employees working on designated scope.

Qualifications

• Data Center construction experience preferred but not required if new construction experience is present.
• Knowledge of Lean Construction principles preferred but not required if receptive to the Miller Learning Institute.
