About the role
Support the Fleet Maintenance team by reviewing and verifying all vendor estimates, managing the approval or rejection of estimates and revisions to ensure accuracy, liaising with rental locations to provide feedback and coaching for faster approvals, maintaining audit records of all estimates from third-party vendors and repair shops, receiving and analyzing vendor performance, providing management with reviews and recommendations, and assisting with additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Support the Fleet Maintenance team by reviewing and verifying all vendor estimates
- Manage the approval or rejection of estimates and revisions to ensure accuracy
- Liaise with rental locations to provide feedback and coaching for faster approvals
- Maintain audit records of all estimates from third-party vendors and repair shops
- Receive and analyze vendor performance, providing management with reviews and recommendations
- Auxiliary duties as assigned to meet business needs
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in repair estimation with experience in using Mitchell Cloud Estimating, CCC, or similar software, and possess vehicle salvage knowledge
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred) or an associate’s degree with relevant experience, and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in computer navigation and Microsoft Office Applications
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and exceptional decision-making abilities
- Commitment to Excellence: Adaptable, able to multitask, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Travel: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to work a flexible schedule
