General Education Teacher (Contract)

About the role

This is a full-time teaching position for a Missouri certified teacher for grades 3-5 teaching English Language Arts at a North St. Louis City private school.

Responsibilities

• Provides classroom oversight and instruction to all assigned students, including those who learn differently.
• Assumes full management of the classroom and curriculum/activities.
• Assigns grades and updates parents on student progress.

Requirements

• Current Missouri DESE teacher certification K-12
• Two or more years of lead teaching experience in a general education setting
• Ability to determine and meet the academic and social/emotional needs of the students in the classroom
• Ability to work within the culture and expectations of the school assignment
