General Education Teacher

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated ELA & Math Interventionist to provide targeted academic support for students in grades 5–10 at one of our school sites in Phoenix, AZ. This is an hourly/salary-based position offering full-time hours with compensation aligned to experience. The teacher will deliver small-group and individualized instruction to strengthen literacy and math skills, while collaborating with classroom teachers to ensure student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide intervention support in English Language Arts and Mathematics.
• Develop and implement instructional strategies aligned with student needs.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote achievement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid Arizona teaching certification (required).
• Experience providing academic interventions in middle and high school settings preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
