About the role
EDU-AIDs is seeking a passionate and dedicated 2nd Grade General Education Teacher to join our elementary team for one of our school clients in Cleveland. The teacher will be responsible for creating a positive classroom environment, delivering engaging instruction, and supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of all students.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver standards-aligned lessons in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a safe, respectful environment.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and families.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to promote student success.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to school initiatives.
Requirements
- Valid Ohio Teaching License (Elementary Education or appropriate grade band).
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required; Master’s preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Experience working with elementary students, preferably in diverse settings.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and student-centered learning.
