Compensation and Benefits
- Monitor and support students grades 9-12 in a quiet space for homework completion.
- Work with students to improve organizational and study strategies, homework completion, time management, goal setting and self-advocacy.
- Partner with the Restorative Coach to support students with accountability projects and other restorative practices.
High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate's Degree or two years of college (preferred).
Experience working with children in an educational or youth development setting.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn restorative practices or similar student-centered behavior approaches.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to stay calm and supportive during challenging student behaviors.
Commitment to equity and supporting all students in a positive and respectful manner.
Experience working with secondary-aged students.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
Training or coursework in child development, counseling, education, or behavior intervention.
Rate of Pay: $22.07
Benefits: Paraprofessional Master Contract
