Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Active state dental license or eligibility to obtain licensure upon graduation.
- A strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Effective communication skills and a professional, patient-centered approach.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certifications.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of dental conditions, including diseases, injuries, and malformations of the teeth, gums, and other oral structures.
- Perform comprehensive dental exams using x-rays, dental instruments, and other diagnostic tools to evaluate the patient’s condition.
- Provide preventive dental services, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and education on oral hygiene.
- Collaborate with laboratory services to ensure accurate diagnostic results and treatment outcomes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards, including OSHA and bloodborne pathogen safety measures, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
