Position Description
This position is critical to safeguarding Mujin Corporation’s legal and regulatory integrity. In this role, your primary duties include:
- Legal Advisory and Compliance: Provide guidance on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and ethical business practices to ensure the company operates within local, state, and federal laws.
- Interviews/Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents with suppliers, customers, employees, and business partners.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential legal risks, conduct internal investigations, and recommend preventive measures to minimize exposure.
- Corporate Transactions: Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions by conducting due diligence, preparing documentation, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Represent the company in legal proceedings or manage external counsel when specialized expertise is required.
- Policy Development: Oversee the creation and implementation of corporate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Collaboration: You will work closely with departments such as Human Resources, Finance, and Operations to provide legal input on strategic decisions.
Position Requirements
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree and active bar membership. Georgia membership desired.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in either Law firm and/or corporate in-house handling complex legal matters and negotiating contracts associated with capital intensive business matters.
- Ability to assess complex legal issues, provide sound advice, and make strategic decisions.
- Able to manage multiple legal matters concurrently and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate, demonstrate diplomacy, and work well with people at all levels of the organization.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to handle and advance multiple projects in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting documents, advising management, and negotiating agreements.

Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Travel Requirement: Less than 15%
