ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• High Dusting: Using a treated high duster, clean surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitizing / Spot Cleaning: Use a germicidal solution to clean surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom Cleaning: Wipe down surfaces with a germicidal solution, including doorknobs, walls, and soap dispensers.
• Bathroom Cleaning (continued): Clean and empty trash cans, refill dispensers as needed.
• Floor Dusting or Vacuuming: Dust mop and vacuum rooms, paying special attention to under furniture and near doors.
• Floor Sanitizing: Use a germicidal solution to sanitize floors, mopping under furniture and behind doors.
• Outside Areas: Clean sidewalks, flower beds, and curb lines, empty ash urns and trash cans, and spot clean spills.
• Food Court: Clean tables, sanitize and stack clean trays, and empty trash cans.
• Customer Relations and Service: Knock on doors before entering, answer questions courteously, and report issues to supervisor.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned, such as floor care, carpet extraction, and floor buffing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to operate various janitorial equipment and tools.
• Physical requirements: walking, standing, sitting, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, climbing, bending, twisting, reaching, grasping, and operating equipment.
