ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• High Dusting: Using a treated high duster, clean surfaces above shoulder height.
• Cleaning the High Duster: Gently brush into service cart.
• Sanitizing / Spot Cleaning: Use germicidal solution to clean surfaces below shoulder height.
• Using proper solution to clean doorknobs and walls.
• Spot cleaning windows.
• Bathroom Cleaning: Use germicidal solution to clean various bathroom surfaces.
• Wiping down sinks, toilets, and checking soap and paper dispensers.
• Emptying and cleaning trash cans.
• Floor Dusting/Vacuuming: Dust mop and vacuum rooms, paying attention to under furniture and in restrooms.
• Grounds Care: Clean outside areas, empty ash urns and trash cans, and clean public areas.
• Food Court: Clean tables, sanitize, and empty trash cans.
• Customer Relations and Service: Knock on doors, answer questions, report issues, and maintain a clean appearance.
• Other Duties: Perform tasks such as floor care, carpet extraction, and floor waxing as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Operate and interpret instructions for cleaning chemicals.
• Physical ability to perform assigned duties including walking, standing, lifting, carrying, operating equipment, and reaching.
