About the role

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is the largest privately held provider of facility services in North America, servicing over 2 billion square feet of space daily. They serve retail, industrial and logistics, healthcare, education, manufacturing, and more, maintaining clean, efficient, and welcoming spaces. The Warehouse Janitorial Associate/Cleaning Crew Member performs cleaning duties in designated work areas to support safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), office areas
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, removing trash
• Ensuring all walkways are clean and tidy at all times
• Cleaning totes and other items
• Performing deep cleaning as needed
• Following all safety and quality standards
• Performing other basic janitorial duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10‑12 hours
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical handling sheets (generally in English; may be in Spanish where state required)
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
• Must download and use the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping app on a personal device for clocking in/out, training, and employment information

Pay

Starting pay: $16.50 per hour. Progressive pay increases: $0.50 after the first 90 days, and an additional $0.30 after completing 180 days.

Schedule

Work schedule: days/nights vary, including weekends. Shifts available: SAT‑THUR 5:00 pm / 3:00 am (two shift options).
