ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• High Dusting: Using a treated high duster, clean surfaces above shoulder height.
• Cleaning the High Duster: Gently brush into service cart.
• Sanitizing / Spot Cleaning: Use germicidal solution to clean surfaces below shoulder height.
• Removing Germs: Clean doorknobs, walls, and windows using proper solutions.
• Bathroom Cleaning: Wipe down surfaces in a specific order, including toilets, soap and paper dispensers.
• Trash Cans: Empty and clean trash cans, refill as needed.
• Floor Dusting/Vacuuming: Dust mop and vacuum rooms, paying attention to under furniture and behind doors.
• Grounds Care: Clean outside areas, empty ash urns and trash cans, and clean public areas.
• Food Court: Clean tables, sanitize, and empty trash cans.
• Customer Relations and Service: Knock on doors before entering, answer questions, report issues, and maintain a clean appearance.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned, such as floor care, carpet extraction, and floor waxing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Effective communication skills.
• Operate various janitorial equipment.
• Maintain physical condition suitable for assigned duties, including lifting, carrying, and reaching.
