ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• High Dusting: Using a treated high duster, clean surfaces above shoulder height.
• Sanitizing/Spot Cleaning: Use a germicidal solution to clean surfaces below shoulder height.
• Bathroom Cleaning: Wipe down surfaces, clean toilets, check and refill soap and paper dispensers.
• Floor Dusting/Vacuuming: Dust mop and vacuum rooms, paying special attention to under furniture and near doors.
• Grounds Care: Clean outside areas, empty and clean ash urns and trash cans, and spot clean spills.
• Food Court: Clean and sanitize tables, empty and clean trash cans, and stack clean trays.
• Customer Relations and Service: Knock on doors before entering, answer questions, report issues, and maintain a clean appearance.
• Other Duties: Perform tasks such as floor care, carpet extraction, and floor buffing as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Basic safe work practices and knowledge of toxic and non-toxic chemicals.
• Physical abilities to lift/carry 1-30 lbs., operate equipment, and perform various cleaning tasks.
