ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• High Dusting: Using a treated high duster, clean surfaces above shoulder height.
• Cleaning the High Duster: Gently brush into service cart.
• Sanitizing / Spot Cleaning: Use germicidal solution to clean surfaces below shoulder height.
• Removing Germs: Clean doorknobs, walls, and windows with proper solution.
• Bathroom Cleaning: Use germicidal solution to clean various bathroom surfaces.
• Trash Can Management: Empty and clean trash cans, refill soap and paper dispensers.
• Floor Dusting/Vacuuming: Dust mop and vacuum rooms, paying attention to under furniture and trash.
• Outside Areas: Clean sidewalks, flower beds, curb line, and parking lots.
• Food Court: Clean tables, sanitize, and empty trash cans.
• Customer Relations and Service: Knock on doors, answer questions, report issues, and maintain a clean appearance.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned, such as floor care, carpet extraction, and floor waxing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Basic safe work practices and knowledge of toxic and non-toxic chemicals.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including walking, standing, lifting, carrying, operating equipment, and reaching.
